Let’s work it out.

Check the guides first, then tell us what happened. A clear description makes it easier to find the cause.

Start with the right guide

A few useful checks

  1. Check your Roam version in Settings > Help & about. Google Play is the current release channel.
  2. Make sure Stream URL contains the complete destination, including its server and any required key. Roam accepts compatible RTMP, RTMPS and SRT URLs.
  3. Check ordinary internet access, camera and microphone permissions, and the platform’s broadcast settings.
  4. For OBS, check the incoming picture and sound separately from the remote controls. A connected OBS control does not prove the video feed has arrived.

Send a useful report

Email feedback@roamlive.app. Include:

  • Your Roam version, phone model and Android version.
  • What you were trying to do, and the steps that led to the problem.
  • What you expected and what actually happened.
  • Whether it happens every time or only sometimes.
  • Your destination type, such as Twitch, Kick or home OBS. For OBS, include the computer operating system and OBS version.

Keep your keys out of the report

Remove stream keys, complete private URLs, OBS passwords and account details from screenshots before sharing. A destination name and protocol are enough to begin.

Diagnostics and screenshots

Soon after a problem, open Settings > Help & about > Save diagnostic log and choose where to save it. Review the exported file before attaching it to your report. A screenshot of an error or a short description of when it occurred can help too. Avoid sending unrelated phone logs.

Report a security problem privately

Email feedback@roamlive.app with a description and a safe way to reproduce it. Keep live credentials out of the message.
